Acquired: Final Fantasy VI Advance

Final Fantasy VI Advance CoverFinal Fantasy VI Advance is a GBA remake of the classic SNES RPG originally known in North America as Final Fantasy III (simply because the original Japanese versions of Final Fantasy II, III, and V weren’t localized until years later). This version features a new translation, optimized graphics for the portable system, and additional bonus gameplay features. I haven’t started the game yet (I’ve already completed the original and the PS1 remake), but it’ll be in the queue until I can clear some more open games.

I’ve been meaning to pick this up forever now. I’ll get to it one day.

I haven’t tried it yet (obviously), but I’m interested in seeing what kind of extra content they’ve put in. I think the extra content in FFIV Advance was pretty lame and usually made the game too easy, so I hope they didn’t make the same mistake this time.

Yeah, I agree that FFIV Advance kind of sucked in some places with the lack of difficulty…but if FFVI Advance is anything like what the reviews have said, I’m sure it’ll be totally sick! Can’t wait to get one.
